We are reading The David Story, Robert Alter’s beautiful translation and commentary of 1 and 2 Samuel.  Join us as we dive deeply into the Bible’s gripping chronicle of the rise and reign of King David.  While our focus will be the Biblical narrative, we will also explore the image of David in later Jewish tradition and in popular culture.
