Introduction to Judaism is both a course for those new to Jewish life and a great refresher for those who want to study the basics of Jewish living systematically and at a sophisticated level.  The course is divided into two Cycles and generally meets weekly.  Anyone interested in converting to Judaism should contact Rabbi Zamek before enrolling in class.

Introduction to Judaism Cycle I — The Jewish Year explores the history, meaning, and observance of the Jewish holidays.

**Participants should obtain the following books:
“The Jewish Holidays A Guide and Commentary” by Michael Strassfeld,
“Jewish Living” by Mark Washofsky, and
“These Are The Words” by Arthur Green.

Introduction to Judaism Cycle ll — The Jewish Life Cycle, explores the life of the Jew and the ceremonies marking important milestones and moments.

“Jewish Living” by Mark Washofsky and
“These Are The Words” by Arthur Green.
