Statement on Shorashim Students’ Pictures and Names on
The UJC website and In UJC Communications

Information on the UJC website and online communications is constantly updated. To highlight Shorashim and other congregational events / activities, your child’s picture or name may appear on the website or in other communications materials. To maintain the safety and security of our students we will do the following:

1) When a student’s picture is published, the student’s name will NOT be associated with that picture.
2) If student names are published, we will use only the first name of the student. Family/surnames will NOT be published.
3) The picture, name, and profile of an upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah will be published in Shabbat Shalom at the discretion of the student’s parents. (Shabbat Shalom is emailed to the membership but is not viewable or searchable online or on the website without a password. This password will be given out to members upon request.)
