Havdalah Pajama Party is The UJC’s program especially created for our two- to -four-year-old members and their parents.

Havdalah Pajama Party (HPP) meets about once a month on a Saturday evening from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM in The UJC Sanctuary.  Parents and their children gather for songs, a craft, a story, and a snack, usually focused on an upcoming holiday.  We also say “good-bye to Shabbat” and “hello to the new week” by making havdalah.  HPP is a special time for parents and their children to share, and a great opportunity to meet new friends.

For children who do not attend Carmel pre-school, HPP is a wonderful introduction to Jewish learning and The UJC.  For those children who attend Carmel, HPP provides an opportunity to meet new Jewish friends and to take part in an activity at their home congregation.
